# POST /account/leverage

Set the leverage of an instrument for your account.

`POST https://api.aevo.xyz/account/leverage`

> **Authentication required.** Include your `AEVO-KEY` and `AEVO-SECRET` headers. See [Authentication](/api-reference/urls/authentication.md).

## Body Parameters

| `instrument` | integer | Yes      | Instrument ID number. Example: `12`                  |
| `leverage`   | integer | Yes      | Leverage multiplier for an instrument. Example: `12` |

**`200`** — Leverage of the instrument has been set.
